Firearm training in Houston for young boys

#1

Post by Stupid »

Are there any firearm training or shooting team a young boy can get or join? He's like 7 years old.
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

There may be opportunities depending on where you live. 4-H and Boy Scouts each offer some shooting sports opportunities, depending on the club/troop you become associated with. As a 4-H volunteer in a club begun as a shooting sports project club, I am a bit biased toward them, but you'll need to touch base with the extension office in your county to see which club(s) off shooting sports projects and in which disciplines. 4-H Shooting Sports disciplines include rifle, shotgun, pistol, muzzle loading, archery and hunting & wildlife management. 4-H members must be at least 8 years of age an in the third grade and no older than 18 or a senior in high school. If you are out north, Conroe Shooting Academy at Conroe Shooting Center/Gun Emporium has a youth program also. I am not terribly familiar with other areas in town since we are in Spring, but I imagine there are opportunities elsewhere too. Best of luck finding a good, safe fit.
