hi,

I'm looking for a concealment holster recommendation for a ruger SP-101, 2 1/2" snub 357. My requirements are:

# leather
# OWB
# FBI cant
# no thumbreaks and must cover trigger guard
# no 1.8yr waiting list :-)

thanks.

Here's an example:

Try Fist holsters. We each have a leather OWB. Both are great.
I ordered one of these in January http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/holster/10.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It took 3 or 4 weeks to arrive.
I got a lefthanded one for a S&W 442. My wife has different model for her Sig P239.
Regards, OE

Many years ago, I bought a Hoffner's strapless spoiler for my SP-101 and it's a decent holster, but I don't think I'd pay the current prices. In your position, I would go to a large gun show (or store) and look for a mass production pancake holster in leather.

I used to carry a Chief's Special in a Bianchi belt slide like this http://www.bianchi-intl.com/product/Pro ... tModelID=5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I still use a belt slide for carry OWB on a couple of my CCW's.

Try D.M. Bullard over in Azle (http://www.dmbullardleather.com/). He makes a "Combat" for the SP101 and can add the bodyguard shield to it if you want. I have had a bunch of his holsters for different handguns - all were quality, very durable, and fit perfectly. You should have it in about two weeks. He is usually at the local area gun shows as well and always brings a good selection of holsters, mag holders, belts, and 'stuff'. So maybe, if you are close to Fort Worth for the next show, try that.

+1 for D.M. Bullard. Very nice craftsmanship at a competitive pricing. He's also a great guy to do business with. His holsters and accessories are also quite customizable to your needs.

:iagree: I use the [horsehide] MSP paddle holster for my 38 Colt Det Special. I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
