Okay, so I'll be the first one to post in this one.

Let's discuss what we carry, holsters, number of magazines, ammo or whatever.

My daily carry is (as listed in the introuduction thread) is a Hardchromed Wilson CQB in a Sparks VMII. Sparks 1.5 inch belt. One spare mag in a Rosen carrier.

Ok, I'll go next

I carry a Browning Hi-Power 40cal Hard chromed by Virgil Tripp in a Milt Sparks Ex-Companion IWB holster.
I carry an extra mag in the truck. If I am going to a high crime area(Houston,Humble,Wal-Mart...lol) I carry an extra mag in my back pocket.

I normally carry a SA Micro-Compact 1911 in a Wilson Combat Lo-Profile holster and one extra mag in my back pocket.

At times I'll carry my SA XD9 Sub in a Don Hume H721 Open Top.

My favorite carry gun is an S&W 3913 in a Don Hume First Agent on a Wilderness Frequent Flier belt w/2 spare mags loaded with either 124 gr+P Golden Saber or Winchester USA 115 gr JHP. I also carry a P3AT as a backup. Other guns I carry at times are a 9MM XD, a PT 100, 686, or a 1911 .45. I have at least one extra magizine for the primary gun at all times. No reload for the BUG.

I carry a Steyr S9 in a Don Hume #30, loaded with Federal 147 gr Hydroshock ammo. I carry one spare magazine in a Comp-tac single mag holder. Also carry a Terzuola ATCF knife and a Sure Fire 6p flashlight. All have served me well.

I mostly carry a Glock in either 9 mil or .40 S&W, because that's what my sweetie is familiar with, so she can fight with it if she needs to. My other option is one of a couple of 1911s in .45 ACP, one hard-chromed and the other stainless. Holsters are Kydex, because they don't rot from sweat in the southeast Texas heat.

A thought on flashlights: I picked up an M3 LED Streamlight as a Christmas gift to myself. It fits on the rail of my Glocks, of course, but I carry it in a pocket. It's a compact size which fits in the palm of my hand, and makes an excellent general purpose flashlight as well as a gun light. I can just use the LED when I want a little light to find a keyhole, saving the batteries for when I might need the brighter light. Very useful. And it takes only a second to snap it on the rail, if I want to use it that way. My conventional Surefire lights are now backups, though one has been mounted on my AR15.

I carry a Springfield Ultra Compact, smashed and bashed by me, in a Galco Deep Cover tuckable IWB holster. Sometimes, if it cools down, I will switch to a well worn Kirkpatrick Under Cover OWB. I always wear a spare mag on the offside, concealed in a nylon knife pouch which hangs on my Kirkpatrick belt. Golden Saber 185 grain +P is the normal ammo choice.

I usually have a Kimber Custom either in my carry bag or in the truck and always have a few loaded spare mags of both sizes in my bag.

I carry a Glock 30 and a spare magazine of .45ACP Winchester Silvertips. In informal situations I have a bunch of JC Penney shirts with ribbed tails designed to fit over my belt. I make my own gunleather and carry in an inside the pants holster strongside.

If I need to wear a tucked-in shirt I have a Confidant shirt from Kramer Leather.

My Surefire is an A2 Aviator.

Depending on my clothing, I carry an S&W Model 342PD in a pocket holster or a Glock 30 in a Sidearmor belt holster. For me, this is a flexible and comfortable system.

Hello. My "always gun" is a well-worn and heavily-used S&W Model 642 loaded with Remington 158-gr. LSWCHP +P. When I carry a belt gun, it is either a 1911 in .45 ACP (usually a Springfield 5" LW or a Norinco that's been lightly customized) or a Browning 9mm Mk III (also very lightly worked over) loaded with either Corbon 115-gr. DPX +P or Winchester 127-gr. Ranger T +P+.

Whatever handgun(s) is being carried, it will have at least one full reload available.

The 1911's are carried in an Alessi while the Hi Powers are carried in either a Galco or old Bianchi inside-the-pant holster called "Pistol Pocket" or something similar. The snub is in a Galco pocket holster.

Best.

My preferred carry is a Defender in a Tucker Texas Heritage IWB (http://www.tuckergunleather.com). 185gr Golden Sabers. One extra magizine, off-side, in a mag holder (also Tucker IWB). Only modification to Defender is ditching the stock grips and putting on Alumagrips. I really like them better than traditional wood grips with sharp checkering.

My warm weather Sunday-go-to-meeting carry (Docker's and a button shirt) is a S&W 642 in a Smartcarry. Hydrashoks. I'm still working on how to carry a reload that works for me. Speedloader is just too bulky. Sometimes use a pocket holster but not often. Kind of a special situation or take the trash out kind of scenerio.

Out in the field, camping, hiking, etc. it's a S&W model 57-4" .41 mag loaded with Corbon's if in critter country or Winchester Silver Tips otherwise. Carry in a cheap nylon holster (Uncle Mike's?) usually SOB but it has a reversible clip so I can change as needed. I really don't carry it much so I haven't invested in a "real" holster.

Bianchi's SpeedStrip is an alternative. It's a flat strip of rubber with holes that hold the cartridges in a line something like _!_!_!_!_!_!_ It can be carried in a pocket and allows you to load two cartriges at a time.

I carry 1911's, either my Thunder Ranch Special, or a SS Colt Commander. I use a Sparks NP-1 holster during the week when I'm in a suit and either a Sparks VM-II or Sparks #1 Heritage (both IWB's) when not in a suit or wearing a jacket.

Usually one extra mag in a Galco QMC (clip-on) when in a suit; a Mitch Rosen 5M when not in a suit (occasionally two mags. in a Rosen 5DM), and sometimes one mag. in a homemade pancake-style IWB.

230 gr. Hydra-Shok or 230 Remington Golden Saber.

Chas.
