Has anyone tried a Sneaky Pete Holster from Pocket Solutions?

I got the notification on 8/25/2011 that my CHL was mailed... So, I went ahead and ordered one directly from the company (Awesome customer service and 30 money back if returned in "unused" resellable condition) cost was less than 60.00 shipped priority- http://www.sneakypeteholsters.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

its supposed to work with the Crimsion Trace laser, but I ordered a SIG laser for my SIG P238 because the CT wouldn't work with my Hogue grip, was told there was a little wiggly room as the Hogue grip was just a tad thicker than stock

Should have everything by the end of next week (and maybe my CHL too)

I'll be sure to post back back if no one has input

More generally, has anyone tried this style of holster? Kinda reminds me of other pouch style designs, just a tad more fancy. Thoughts on the ability to draw and conceal?

I hope it's better designed/executed than the Uncle Mike's PDA holster. Let us know what you think.

Its a nice holster... that being said its going back

its designed to work with stock P238 Grips and I have a Hogue wrap around which is .288" wider, it can be "placed" in the holster but the buldge is noticable and harder to remove firearm in a needed situation and only 1 of the 2 magnets fastens correctly

it does work well with the SIG 238-TGL laser, it takes some force to shake the gun free upside down... there video on ebay is the best example of real life...

its a little too obvious on my person... fancy leather + blue jeans and untucked Dickies work shirts = outta place in my opinion

The idea sounded good at the time (time being way past my bed time, lol)

Flat out if you dress like a office type person people would never take a second guess

The clip design... its not gonna get ripped off your belt...

easy to deploy and well built, just not my style when looking in the mirror

Ill post pics when I get them off the iphone

Try the SmartCarry, then. You'll be happy, as I am. Conceals well, and rides lower -- better movement. It still is a second or so slower draw than a conventional IWB holster, but it's great for dress clothing.

A lot lower. And inside the pants instead of outside the waistband. And a lot of other differences.

Oooops, I thought that it was different holster, one that's still inside the waistband in the front. This one's more like large phone case. Sorry about that!

And a thumbs up to Mike at sneaky pete holsters... Customer service goes a long way in my book and this guy was top notch... He has no problem taking it back for a refund and had a good conversation about the product

If I didn't feel so out of place wearing the holster, I'd keep it

Literally there is nothing bad I can say about it, it's sexy but too classy for me

I did receive my Versa Carry today, my other generic holster, and I bought a uncle mikes pocket holster that fits me nice

I've got a few days off I'll snap pics in the free time and have them up

just wanted to throw in my .02 on this holster.

I work in a doctors office so this is a great option for me to carry when i am wearing scrubs.

The magnet that keeps it closed is very secure , and the case itself is the exact size of an iPad mini or kindle reader tablet.

I have shown it to family members by walking up and saying "what do you think of this" none of them thought "gun" or holster. It is much more discrete than you'd think.

If anyone asks me in public what it is, my answer will be "its made by a cell phone case company, its very handy".

you could even use one for a pepper blaster , your phone, or anything else you want to carry.

drawing is very good , but takes some training. I place my middle finger on the grip, and pull it up until i can get my hand around the grip. From a quick draw standpoint its not so great, but from a safety standpoint you will not accidentally put your finger on the trigger when you don't want to.

The company claims it works with the crimson trace laser, this is not true at all in the case of the Glock 26. The laser housing does not allow the case to close. you can't see that its a gun, but you can see that it's NOT a tablet so i will be only using the laser for IWB carry.

When I get my plastic I will carry it for a while then post some more thoughts. Just wanted to throw in my .02 as far as first impressions. I have been using it for car-carry for a month now, its very handy because i can carry it to and from my car in plain sight.

I have one for my 238 and it is BY FAR my favorite carry option. Comfortable, rock solid on my belt, and goes completely un-noticed.
