Holster for M&P 45 Compact

I just picked up my first M&P yesterday. I never really considered them but when I held one it just fit my hand like a glove and I had to have it.

Now to find a holster...

I've searched several sites and it seems there are an abundance of models for M&P 9 and 40 but I see very few options for 45c. Not being familiar with these guns until now, I don't know if the size format is the same or not or if the 45 is larger? I assume it would be?

I currently use a Galco Kingtuk for my 5" 1911 and love it so I was hoping they offered the same for the 45c but I don't see it listed in the catalog. Any suggestions on a comparable quality IWB holster would be much appreciated!

LOL...like me, you have off the beaten path tastes.

I'm using an Mtac. Works just fine but after over a year of carry I'm starting to find the holster slightly uncomfortable. I also use the non finger rest magazine and use the finger rest mag as my spare.

I had the paint in the front sight hit me in the face after about 50 rounds but I repainted it with some Testors gloss white and its been fine since. My M&P 45c has been completely flawless since round 1.

Someday when I have some spare cash to play with I want to look into trying out some full size mags in it to see if you could use the 45c as an open carry pistol. Now about that lack of holsters...

I agree. A Comp-Tac is an excellent choice. The best money I have spent on a holster in years. The more I wear mine the better it gets.

Well, sounds like the M&P 9 holster works then. Kingtuk it is!

Thanks for the help :)
