Holster for Sig P 229

Postby gguess66 » Sat Dec 01, 2012 11:41 pm

So I finally got my Sig P 229, after about two years of talking about it. Anyways I was wondering what brand or type of holster I should get, I am thinking of going inner waist band. What brand is good and also where o buy it. Is Cabelas ok or somewhere online? Thanks also getting my CHL on January 12th anywhere specific I should take it? Was thinking cross fire here in Fort Worth.

I actually have a Sig P250 compact .45 I'm having a difficult time finding a holster for. Just browsing around different brick and mortar stores in my location I've seen quite a few holsters for the P229. I'm still fairly new, but from what I've read the type of holster will be your comfort preference.

If you want to go IWB go with Crossbreed. Really good holster , comfortable.. cant go wrong with them IMO.

If you like to support local businesses, try White Hat Holsters. Similar style and price to crossbreed, but made in Arlington. They have a lot of designs and colors of kydex available, and they can engrave the leather with text or design. If you send them a picture, they can put it on the kydex.
