Not the cheap ones I buy, but I bet you could do a better job on your own and sew some on instead of paying what some "fashionable" athletic pants may cost.

It is possible to wear a belt and holstered handgun under the sweatpants without belt loops.

For some reason, the only thing that comes to mind is duct tape.

My wife's response: "I wouldn't admit it if I did." :mrgreen:

Sorry...... I realize you're trying to solve a problem, and I don't mean to be mean. It just struck me as funny. No harm intended.

I looked up the "coaching pants" mentioned above. I can't find what I would consider "sweatpants," but I found "coaching pants." They look different to me. Good luck finding what you need.

I've found drawstring sweats or casual pants and clipless Remora holsters work just fine for CCW, if that's what you're looking to do.

My son has found a nice solution to carrying when jogging in drawstring shorts -- his Smith & Wesson "Airweight" .38 revolver with recessed hammer, with a DeSantis "Clip-Grip." http://www.desantisholster.com/CLIP-GRIP" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Interesting solution, but sadly not available for lefties or I might want to try one.

TAM,

The DeSantis website appears to offer a Clip-Grip for lefties for the Mod. 38 my son has, or at least there is a block to check if you want one. I didn't check for other Smiths, but I recall seeing the option when I bought him one for the Airweight.

I can't imagine you having anything to the left. :)

I would never dream of using a holster or carrying via a "clip" that does not cover the trigger.

The only exception would be if we are talking a single action revolver, like a Colt SAA. For single action revolvers, I like the ones with the loop on the holster that holds down the hammer.
