Let's see what my Representative does here. Not sounding good just right now...

I thought the Aryan Nation was considered a criminal street gang.

This all seems like for political show. I think they know it's going to pass anyway.

The whole scenario is a total exaggeration. There's nothing in the bill that says a policeman has to "sit across the street and do nothing". It's pretty simple, if there's any reason for a policeman to feel suspicious, all he has to do is walk over, watching the weapon, and strike up a conversation. A good policeman can direct the conversation in a way that strengthens or weakens suspicions.

There's noting in the amendment that says they "can't approach them at all".

It is an up or down vote, meaning there can be no amendments. It doesn't prohibit debate.

Yeah, I thought that was made pretty clear during the Senate debate.

The police most often arrive after things have occurred. It is a sadly wry joke: 911 - when seconds count help is just minutes away. Lets get this thing passed!

I would be OK with it going to conference if it weren't for the fact that it will get killed via filibuster in the senate.

Huffines may be partly to blame, but this bill being tied up for weeks due to a conflict between the chambers is the real culprit.

Stickland is an ass and goes about things the wrong way. I agree with his message, and he's definitely passionate.

My God this whole process is sooo confusing. So it can go to conference, fail to come out, and then they can revote? :confused5
