In compliance with the "Timely Warning" provisions of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, the San Jacinto College Police Department is giving notice of an act of violence reported to have occurred at the San Jacinto College South Campus.

REPORTED OFFENSE:
A sexual assault / forcible fondling took place on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, involving a San Jacinto College employee and suspect who is a student, at the San Jacinto College South Campus bookstore. The incident was recorded on a bookstore camera, and the San Jacinto College police department will be contacting the District Attorney’s office to obtain an arrest warrant for the suspect.

SUSPECT:
The suspect is a white male, medium build, 5 feet 10 inches tall, dark hair, with facial hair on his chin. Attached are two photos of the suspect captured from the surveillance video in the bookstore.

In an effort to promote and maintain a safe and secure environment, the San Jacinto Police Department encourages the College community to contact the department immediately should you have any information about this incident. The police department can be contacted from a campus phone at ext. 5555, or from a cell phone at (281) 476-9128.
I received this e-mail today from the college.
