TX: Two burglars killed, one "injured" in Austin

I was looking at something else on the Austin Stateman website when I noticed a small headline at the very top "Two Killed, One Injured in northeast Austin break-in". I've noticed that initial reports of what appear to be self-defense incidents often do not mention self-defense in anyway, just "One killed in robbery" or some such and only upon reading do you find out the clerk bagged a robber.

In this case https://www.statesman.com/news/20200219 ... police-say
Investigators determined that three suspects entered an apartment at the Creekside on Parmer Lane complex around 10:30 p.m. and two homeowners inside responded by firing shots at the group, said Austin police Officer Bino Cadenas.
Possibly all three suspects were hit, as two were DOS and one taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police still investigating, and it could turn out differently, but sure sounds like a legit home SD situation at first pass.
