This Is unfortunate, since it denigrates officers assigned to the job who aren’t screw-ups.

I recall we had a thread on here a few years ago about a DPS trooper in Houston (I think) who got in a tiff with his neighbor and arranged for the HPD to arrest his neighbor for running a chop shop, when all the neighbor was actually doing was restoring/customizing cars as a hobby When the smoke cleared the trooper was assigned to a DMV in El Paso, as I recall. Again an insult to Other troopers assigned to the same job, and far short of what the trooper deserved.

I have a simpler definition. If you have to buy your own ammo instead of it being issued to you, you're a civilian. "rlol"
