I can respect that. Disagree with it, but respect it.Russell wrote:I was out partying with friends, and even though I usually limit myself to a VERY small amount of alcohol (especially when I know I am going to be driving later) I still refuse to carry when I have any amount of alcohol in my system.

Not carrying with ANY alcohol in your system. I don't feel the need to leave it at home over 1 beer.Russell wrote:Just out of curiosity, what do you disagree with?

I agree the laws do still need to be loosened for CHL holders, but still think that CHL holders should not be allowed to carry into a bar.Kalrog wrote:Not carrying with ANY alcohol in your system. Aaaargh! Darn flame shield! It's like the "no guns" sign of the internet! No weapon can possibly penetrate written notice!Russell wrote: that CHL holders should not be allowed to carry into a bar.

If Russell weren't immune from my response, I'd say something about those darn designated drivers, looking out for their buddies by staying sober, sipping cokes while their buddies cut loose.
But that blasted flame shield got in the way!

CHL Holders / Bars / Alcohol
If I could wave my magic wand and change the law,
CHL holders could carry everywhere LEO's carry and in the same 'sober' conditions.
If LEO's can carry while getting drunk in a bar then CHL holders should be able to do the same.
