I agree. After listening to my scanner, though, I've realized that Montgomery County S.O. used very few 10-codes...very few as in 'almost never'. I have heard them run many firearms serial numbers to check for stolen on traffic stops when a CHL is involved.KD5NRH wrote: scanners are nice to have, and I definitely agree with those who say LE should use a 10 code for CHL, rather than telling everybody else with a scanner that I carry.
