reverse contact - person came into work asking CHL ?'s

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

reverse contact - person came into work asking CHL ?'s

I spoke to a person at our front counter yesterday who had come in asking some good legitimate CHL questions pertaining to carrying in his car at a college. I provided the answers, printed out something for him, reminded him of his 4th amendment rights, and talked with him for a bit. I can tell you that things have changed in police work. With all the people going into stations trying to catch LEO's on video, I had to wonder if he had a camera. Sure some will say that is part of the job, but you know what, it sucks! However, even if he had video, it would never make the 'net as I provided honest legit info as any LEO should do. :patriot:

A shame we have to say "should do" instead of "would do".

Yes, it sucks, but that's the price you pay for being a public servant. My salary is posted on the web for all to see. So is my home address. Nothing I can do about it. It's the price I pay for being a public servant.

Thank you for choosing to serve in an often it is a thankless job. Would that every LEO was as well versed in CHL laws and issues as those we have on the forum.
