Back in the fold

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

Back in the fold

Post by gigag04 »

Sworn back in this morning with my new agency as a reserve.

Not sure how much time I'll be able to do LEO stuff, but it's at least a couple of days a month.

Ran my recently acquired G34 for quals...it shoots very well and I can see why guys are podiuming in competitive shooting with them.

Congratulations!

Once it's in your blood, it's tough to put aside.

There's nothing else like it (IMHO).

Been 35 years and I still get the urge to do it again. :evil2:

31 years for me and I would still love to be back in. Just haven't had the time with family and other things occupying my life.

I wholeheartedly believe it. I worked in a non-sworn position for a couple of years in college for the city PD and worked very closely with the officers of the department. It very much got into my blood and is what I wanted to do for a living. Life had other plans for me and several years later, I still really miss it.

I catch myself every once in a while while driving waiting to hear my call sign on the radio before I realize I'm never going to again.

I shiver thinking of doing something else for a living.
