I was having trouble with the time input in a form that would add a range of cells in hours and minutes (instead of decimal hours), so Sgt. Bamsch helped with that part. (Now I know how to do that.) I have a little more to finish, then I'll make it available to all instructors. Hopefully, I can publish it by the end of this week, but my Granddaughter is coming in Wednesday and being Grandpa comes first!

With the spreadsheet, you will have a data entry page where you will enter everything related to the class. Much of the information will be the same for all students, such as the date, range location, instructor, etc., while some will be student-specific. When the data is entered, all CHL-100's and the CHL-8 will be automatically filled in and all you have to do is print and sign the forms.

DPS has approved the forms for use by instructors.

I'm new to the Forum so forgive any redundancy but was the above described spreadsheet ever made available? If so, where? I just finished the instructor course and Sgt Bamsch mentioned it as a good resource.

Yes. Mine is set up assuming the same instructor will be teaching both the classroom and range portion of the class.

Charles - I have tried to use your spreadsheet, but unfortunately, we always have one instructor for classroom and the other for range. Have you considered a modification that would allow for that?

I can do that. I'll try to get it done in the next day or two.

Sorry it took longer to get to than I anticipated, but I've changed the spreadsheet to allow for different instructors for the classroom and range portions of the CHL class. I also moved the spreadsheet to the Instructors Corner. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=48919" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The "Raw Data" page is not required. I use it because I upload a CVS file from my website to load the data entry sheet.
