Application Status
I got an automatic change notification that the DPS website had changed. They took the words "or check the status of your application" off of the website. I know that the status portion of the application was down for maintenance and was supposed to be back soon. Seeing this new change makes me think that maybe you will never be able to check status. Anyone know the real story?
Infoman.............you seem to have an inside contact. Have you heard anything?

Re: Application Status
I think we need an "ask infoman" little section of the forum. I'm always happy to help out!

Re: Application Status
OK, it's now been another month. Are we beyond the foreseeable future yet?
Anyone know if the status check is available yet?

There will not be a detailed status online for a long time.

Re: Application Status
So what is an applicant supposed to do to check on the status of his application? Try to call DPS? I'm sure they have operators standing by to answer everyone's questions.
This is really a shame since DPS had come so far in recent years in automating so much of the process.

Re: Application Status
If they applicant has waited the 60 days, they should try calling to check their status. If they haven't waited at least 60 days, they should try being patient.RossA wrote:So what is an applicant supposed to do to check on the status of his application? Try to call DPS?
