How long can we use old chl100 before having to switch to new chl100? I thought I had read something about it, can not find it anywhere.

The CHL-100 is the Certificate of Training Form that LTC Instructors issue to students who successfully complete a License to Carry a Handgun Class.

We had to use the new curriculum on 1/1, covering open carry, etc.

If you had a supply of CHL 100 or CHL 8's that you wanted to use up, I think they said you could use them until March, but not sure.

I print mine off as needed. All I had to do was slightly modify my spreadsheet. :)

That is what I understood as well, but could not find it in writing anywhere. Called and at least he was honest and said he did not know the answer to that question. I was just trying to use up the old chl100's. I guess I will chunk 30* and use the new ones at the next class.

I wouldn't. Use them up. If DPS objects, you can always re-issue w/new forms. :)

Of course, if you do that you will be making your students' processing times even longer. It's not their fault that forms got changed.

Actually, it might speed up the process. Now, it's on someone's desk for immediate action. :)

But the immediate action will probably be telling the applicant that he has to go back to his instructor for a new form.
