Forum is running SLOOWWWWWW

Since yesterday about 16:00, the forum has run extremely slow (for me)

I have tried on IE and Firefox

I have cleared the board cookies on both browsers
yet, still slowwwww

Some threads or just refreshing happens as normal.
But some threads or refreshing of the site, takes literally 30 seconds

Even starting this thread, from the time I clicked "new topic" it took 1minute and 40 seconds to load this page.
is it me?
or is it the site?

And I clicked "Save Draft" instead of submit, so an extra minute or longer to be able to get back and push submit.... argh!

Yes, it was running very slow well into the night yesterday. The other site I have hosted with the same company was equally slow, as well as the company's own site.

Thank You Charles, it sounds like the host server is having issues, and probably needs reset.
At least we know it is not our computers!

The forum is probably mad because you shut down OT.

It's called "bandwidth exhaust". It occurs when there is more demand on the system than the system can handle. At least, that's what Century Link told us this summer on Flathead Lake as they gave us a $20/month refund on our internet service.
