Could be the cookies setting on your phone browser. The login info is stored in a cookie.

How do you check your cookies on an IPhone?FCH wrote:Could be the cookies setting on your phone browser. The login info is stored in a cookie.

Mount a WiFi camera on the door of your oven. Connect to said camera with iPhone. Check those cookies!carlson1 wrote:How do you check your cookies on an IPhone?

Maybe you can Google it. Android has 3 dots in the upper right corner.

My favorite three cookies when they're fresh out of the oven are...peanut butter, raisin oatmeal and chocolate chip...in that order.

I can be logged in and go from one thread to the next and have to log in again. I am almost convinced it must be my phone, but I am not 100% sure it is.

I dont think it's your phone, but the history setting in your browser. Try this.carlson1 wrote:I have done this.Jim Beaux wrote:Try thisRPBrown wrote:On my cell phone every time I visit the site I have to log on even when I click the remember me button. Has happened 4 times today

I thought I'd repeat my 'fix' again for this relatively small but still pain in the butt issue.....
Of the various forums I visit, I made it a point to selectively clear out the history in Safari. I make sure that I leave the 'login history' for the websites/forums I frequent un-deleted.
The next day rolls around and I am still able to access the sites I want without having to re-enter my username/passwd because the history is still on the phone. Now when I clear out the history in Safari I make sure to only clear out the history from 'Today'...leaving my history that I didn't delete from the previous day untouched. I've been doing this for the last couple of days and it works.
I/we/you just have to remember to NOT delete ALL history or you'll have to 'start over' with a fresh login/psswd history/memory.
Hopefully all this will become unnecessary with 9.1

It's gotta be a browser setting. I do not have this issue on my phone except for when I delete the cookies.

It's not just a mobile device issue. Every 3-4 days, I have to log back in with my MacBook Pro laptop too, and it doesn't seem to matter whether I'm using Chrome or Safari at the time.

I think that is a security feature of the board software. The Annoyed Man wrote:It's not just a mobile device issue. Every 3-4 days, I have to log back in with my MacBook Pro laptop too, and it doesn't seem to matter whether I'm using Chrome or Safari at the time.
