18,400 members

Post by RPBrown »

Folks, we have reached the 18,400 member mark. That is quite the accomplishment for us. In the beginning, if I recall, Charles (the owner/operator of the forum for those that didn't know) did not expect but maybe 100 members. That goes to show that not only are the members here great, but Charles and the moderators have done a great job in keeping this a place where you can sit with your entire family and read it. I have had the privilege to meet Charles and a few of the members and I can say everyone is as nice in person as they are on here.
So, to Charles and the moderators I salute you all :cheers2: . Great job.

We should have a TexasCHLforum convention! Perhaps in Austin...18,400 armed deplorables would cause much mashing of teeth and tearing of hair by the libs in Austin.

Congrats and thank you to Charles, the mods and all the "good gals and guys" who make up this forum. :txflag:

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

A darn fine place to hang out, be educated, mix up perspectives and new angles on scenario quarterbacking.

Thank you Charles. Thank you mods.

I too thank Charles and the moderators for providing this forum that a lot of us enjoy a great deal.

We have also been adding new members at the rate of about 100 per month for at least the last several months (when I have been noticing) so our total numbers are increasing rapidly.

With all of the voters who did not vote in the last Presidential election? :biggrinjester:

Our Town has over 60,000 residents. There are social media groups dedicated to the Town that have less than 9K members. Online forums in any area seem to draw 10% or less for the possible audience. But I personally believe that all the LTCs who have not found the forum are really missing out. Unlike a neighborhood social media group, this forum is much better organized from an information standpoint and much easier to get a straight forward answer from than any other type of forum that I'm familiar with. I've pared down the amount of time that I spend online but visiting here is not something that I want to give up.
