Start Page on Forum

#1

Post by G26ster »

Somehow my preferences got fouled up. My "start page" on the forum was "New Posts." Now I can't seem to get back to that as a start page. How do I do it?

Hmmm

In Firefox I set my "Home Page" to active_topics
http://www.texaschlforum.com/search.php ... ive_topics

By going to where I want my start/ home page and then in FireFox browser TOOLS OPTIONS GENERAL and there's a part "When FireFox Starts .. .... Home Page >> Use Current Page(s)

For NEW POSTS
go to where you want your start/ home page http://www.texaschlforum.com/search.php ... d=newposts and then in FireFox browser TOOLS OPTIONS GENERAL and there's a part "When FireFox Starts .. .... Home Page >> Use Current Page(s)

If you use Chrome or a different browser, there's usually an OPTIONS or SETTINGS where you can do it

chrome://settings/startup

Another method is to save a Bookmark for the forum.
Go to the area of the forum you would like to start at and save a Bookmark.
I have Chrome to always start with Google, then start searching or pick a Bookmark of a site to go to.
