As for your pistol you might try Champion Firearms in College Station. They get police trade in Glocks from time to time and make good deals on them. They aren't right at your price range but usually only $30-$40 more. I bought a Glock 22 and while it had some holster wear the barrel and insides looked brand new. Most cops don't shoot their duty weapons that much.

I've told my girlfriend the combo to my safe and shown her how to operate it.  She just can't ever remember how to work the dial!
