WTB Glock 26, $325-410, depending on condition

Post by drjoker »

Looking for a Glock 26 in mint condition with two magazines. Please be someone who takes good care of your guns by immediately cleaning and oiling after every trip to the range. I am willing to pay $325 for one in the DFW area. I am willing to pay $360 ($35 more) if you have not lost all the original stuff that came with the gun (tupperware box, 2 mags, 2 piece cleaning kit, and owner's manual) I am willing to pay $375 ($50) more if you have a side mounted crimson trace laser grip installed. If you have a like-new Glock 26 with all the original stuff and crimson trace laser grips, I will pay $410 for it. Please note that I have to keep the transaction legal. FTF DFW is O.K. only if you are comfortable exchanging CHL numbers (so we'll know that both parties are not criminals). If you do not have a CHL, then we can do the exchange through a FFL. I check this forum every night at midnight and will call you the next morning at 9 AM with cash in hand if you PM me with an acceptance of this offer. Exchange will take place at a local range. As long as the gun goes bang reliably (give me one minute to squeeze off 20 shots), you will have cash on hand at 10 AM when the range opens. Thank you.

P.S. I WILL NOT accept your buddy's CHL number. The photo on the CHL MUST be your photo.

Here is a concluded auction of a Glock 26 with a photo if you're not sure what model Glock pistol you have:

So you want a pristine Glock at less than market value, a Crimson Trace for about 25% of retail value AND you want the SELLER to pay the FFL fee if he doesn't have a CHL?

Sorry, can't help you.

I am willing to pay $360 (that's $35 more) if your Glock is in mint condition and you did not lose the stuff that came in the original box; 2 magazines, gun, cleaning kit, owner's manual, and trigger lock (if post-trigger lock law manuf). If you have a Glock 26 with all the stuff in the original box with crimson trace side mount laser grips, I am willing to pay $410.

Guys, I'm not joking. Notice that I did not pull these prices out of thin air. I posted a link to a closed auction where the final price is (surprise!) the price that I posted. Also, I spoke with my local pawn shop and they told me that's what they pay for guns when people come in to sell their guns to the pawn shop. They said that they won't discount their gun prices to me because the profit margin isn't all that great. They told me that they typically sell a used glock for $450 or more and buy them for $350 or less. That's less than 29% return on investment. Considering that they have to pay rent and other bills, the pawn shop isn't really making all that much money on the gun at all. My local pawn shop is real honest. What retailer is willing to tell their customers their profit margin? They told me that if I wasn't in a hurry to get the gun and if I was willing to shell out cash real quick, people who have an emergency need for cash will sell a Glock for under $350. They reminded me that they have a lifetime free repair warranty if I bought from their pawn shop and if I were to buy a lemon gun FTF, I'll be outta luck. Therefore, they cautioned me not to pay more than $350 if I bought the gun FTF. If I can't find a cheap gun FTF, they'd be more than happy to sell me a Glock for approx $450 (depending on condition of the gun). However, they're selling new ones for $500, so I'll probably buy a new one if I buy from the pawn shop since there's not much difference between $450 and $500. I'm in no hurry, so I'll leave these ads up for awhile and see what happens. If I can't get a Glock for sub-$360, then I'll buy a new one from my local pawn shop. Actually, I'd buy a new one from him now and not mess with the forum except that he only has the olive drab Glock 26 in stock. I like the black ones better.

BTW, here's a recent Glock sale for $360 on our very own forum:
http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic. ... 51&start=0

With regard to bargain Glocks, my own wife sold my Glock 19 for $50! That's right, there's only ONE zero behind that 5! I now own ZERO guns because my wife is an anti-gun liberal who sold all my guns one day when I went to work. I am buying these guns as presents for my family members. Hopefully, they'll let me borrow them and shoot them occasionally.

If you own a Glock and need to make rent, I will pay cash NOW, no Bull Stuff. Other people will PM you and give you the run around when you finally meet up. They'll offer checks, money orders, delay things a couple of days due to "work" schedules, and even try to use credit cards. I will give you CASH NOW. I will check my PM on this forum several times a day until Dec 23rd. Then, if I can't find a pretty black Glock 26 on this forum, I'll get the brand new olive drab one from my local pawn shop.

OK folks, the OP is shopping for a bargain, and there is nothing wrong with that. As Carlson stated, if you don't have what he wants at the price he is willing to pay, then don't post.

I recall a recent post on this forum about a distributor that had great deals on used but refurbished Glocks. I think it was "GT Enterprises". I would think you could find said post using the search feature, or perhaps somebody remembers the exact name of the company and will post it. I hope this helps.

If someone comes across another they'll sell on the same terms (less the crimson trace bit) and everyone ahead of me gets theirs, I'll take it!
