WTB Ruger LCP
WTB Ruger LCP
Yes, I'm making another WTB post. Can't you see I'm doing my Christmas shopping at the last minute?
Looking for a like-new Ruger LCP in DFW. Willing to pay $230 for it. Willing to pay an extra $50 if you have crimson trace laser grips installed on it. I check my PM every night at midnight. Willing to pay an extra $10 for every extra factory magazine. Upon receipt of a PM, I will call you at 9AM. Exchange will be made at a local range. Just give me a min to squeeze off 20 quick shots to test it. As long as it is reliable, you will have cash in your hand shortly after 10 AM when the range opens. Please be a careful gun owner who cleans and oils immediately after every trip to the range. Thanks.
P.S. To make sure that we are both not criminals, I will need to exchange CHL numbers. I WILL check the photo on your CHL to make sure that it is you on the CHL, not your buddy. If you do not have a CHL, then I will need to conduct the transfer through a FFL.
Here is a completed auction with pic of a Ruger LCP in case you're not sure if you have one:

P.S. gun should be post-recall or pre-recall but was sent in to Ruger and fixed.

I can see why you go by drjoker.
If I had a gun for every ace I have drawn, I could arm a town the size of Abilene.

Umm...........I just bought one at the Bigtown Gun Show this past weekend and got what I thought was a great deal at $275 plus tax. Good luck on getting one for $230. The Crimson Trace stuff adds around another $175. Like I said, good luck getting one at your price.

Yep, best I've seen locally was $299.
I read a post about a Black Friday sale at a shop that was advertising them for $269.
Ah, there it is:
It is post #11 on this thread:

I wish you luck finding one for much less than that. For what it's worth, you may find a junky P3AT for that price (yes, I've owned two of them, and both were junk). I have an LCP now, and although I do not carry it, at least it functions correctly.
Edited to add:
Oops, sorry, Dr. Carlson, guess I was typing as you were posting. Not trying to be a wet blanket, just trying to inject a dose of reality into the conversation...

Ah, there it is:
Sportsman's Whse had a sale here in Chatt-town on a Ruger LCP .380 for $269. There were only 25 to sell and there was a footrace at 6:00 AM from the front door to the gun counter with about a 60 man field. Sales guy there said they sold 50 guns in the first hour. I was not one of them.

What is the new price of a Ruger LCP at DFW gun shows?
Hi,
What's the new price of a Ruger LCP at DFW gun shows? I was wondering if the gun shows are a waste of time/money/gasoline or not.
Thanks for your help,

Re: WTB Ruger LCP
I paid $275 at the Bigtown gun show last weekend. There were two vendors that had them in stock for that price. There were two other vendors that had them also, one selling for $289 and the other for $299. These are new in box Ruger LCP's.
That was the cash price. If you used credit cards like I did, they added 4% to the tab. I paid an extra $11 to purchase with my VISA card.

Re: WTB Ruger LCP
Last couple of DFW gun shows I have seen a number of new LCPs for $299. Have not seen one for less, although I may have missed something. What's the new price of a Ruger LCP at DFW gun shows?
As far as the question of whether it is a waste of time or gas...
While I do walk out empty-handed on occasion, that is definitely the exception. And even on those rare occasions, I am almost always tempted by something...
If they weren't worth going to, I wouldn't keep going. And I'll be at the Fort Worth show tomorrow morning...
