FS: RIA 1911 Officers model *SOLD*

Selling my Rock Island compact 1911. 3.5 inch barrel, GI sights, skeleton hammer and extended beavertail.

Round count is less than 600, finish is excellent, comes with 3 magazines and Houge wrap around grips (plus the original grips) and the original box.

This gun has been excellent for me, no reliability issues aside from one magazine feeding issue (I got rid of the offending mag).

Reason for sale? Primarily, I simply don't carry it. For me, its full size 5" brother conceals just as well, so I'm always leaving this one at home. In addition, just acquired a Glock 19, so I'd like to recoup the money I spent by getting rid of a gun I don't carry.

Finally found my digital camera. Long story short, when I'm gone for extended periods I hide valuables to make thieves have a harder time. I forgot where I put my DSLR over Christmas and it took me a good hour today to find it.

After pulling out the gun, I realized my memory is not as accurate as reality. The gun has slight holster wear on the front edges of the slide, but other than that the finish is in good shape.

Pictured is the gun, the 3 mags (one factory, 2 wilson combat 7 rounders) and the factory grips that I took off in favor of the Hogues.

In addition, all PMs have been responded too. I have people who have shown interest, but no one has flat out said they'd take it, so first one to PM me with cash in hand is still first in line.
