Looking to start an FFL (North Austin)

(Apologies if this is a mis-located thread)

The missus and I are thinking about opening up an FFL in the north Austin area. Just a "kitchen" service and an online store for starters (my nest egg is a lot smaller than I hoped, so no storefront ). I'm not worried about the online store part due to my advanced nerdiness, but I'm certain that I need some kind advice about what kind of "company" to set up (LLC vs S corp, etc.), what things I need to do to make sure I don't run afoul of Texas or Federal tax laws, etc. I reckon these folks should either be legal counsel or able to offer legal counsel, and hopefully friendly to FFLs.

Can anybody offer any suggestions?
