Shipping Handgun to FFL (N-DFW)

#1

Post by tooslow »

Most places want an FFL transfer fee then shipping to ship a handgun to another FFL. I was wondering if anyone in the local area only charged for the shipping or a small fee? Since I can ship directly to an FFL myself, but it will be overnight. I live in Anna, but Mckinney-Plano-Allen-Sherman would be good areas to ship from. Thank You all in advance. :bigear:

I recently used Tom Hart for the first time. Great guy and I highly recommend him.

Transfers are $20, but only $10 for CHL, military/police, schoolteachers.
Location is near Independence & McDermott in Plano

I'm not sure your question is clear, exactly...

IF... You are planning to ship to an FFL (I assume out of state), I suggest that you contact that FFL and confirm that he/she will accept a shipment directly from you. If YES, then just send the gun by any legal shipping method.. FedEx or UPS are easy.

IF... The receiving FFL will not accept the gun from you (since he/she has no way to verify that you are, in fact, you... They cannot match your ID to your face if you are not standing in front of them)... then Imnotascoolasu's reply on a low-cost local FFL for the origin end of the transaction is :thumbs2:
