I was thinking about daily carry a Ka-Bar 4-1252CP-3 Fixed Blade 5-Inch.
I thought that might be legally carry due to blade length less than 5 1/2, but someone said it's illegal to carry due to that knife was Bowie.
Anyone could give some suggestion that it's Bowie or not? Thanks!

Unfortunately, the statutes do not define "Bowie knife", which leaves the interpretation up to the court. The simple fact that it is shaped somewhat like a Bowie knife could get you convicted.
Sorry, but there just isn't a clear cut answer.![tiphat :tiphat:](./images/smilies/tiphat.gif)

My wife bought me one as a present several years ago. I do not carry it because the law is unclear, as stated by Pawpaw. Not worth the ride, not to mention if they decide to prosecute.
