pic resizing

#1

Post by too-tall »

When I "shoot"(now this is a shooting question) a pic with my camera and down load them on the computer, what size should they be?
I heard somewhere not to make them over 100kb. I resized them on Photo Delux to less than 100kb. But when I post them on the net, thet show up very small. What size should I make them? What is a good size for posting? Thanks guys..............

Around 500 pixels is good. That will give you a pic this size.

640x480 isn't too large either. It will look like this:
