First shoot with new trigger...

Post by DONT TREAD ON ME »

I went out today and got to shoot my 1911 for the first time after installing the Ed Brown Videki National Match Trigger into it. I had some fliers in the beginning but I think I got the feel of it.

That was only at 7 yards. I wanted to make sure I got the feel down and could adjust any problems I had. Next time I will put it out to 15-20.

I dont mess with that. I took it to a gunsmith. Im afraid that I will mess something up and since this is my only 1911...for now. I dont want to do that. When I have more money to toss around..could be a long time...I want to get a low end 1911 and play with it and learn more about them.
