Well, tried to register before, but apparently some software problems prevented me from registering. Here now. Me?

Have had a CHL since slightly before the law went into effect! Received my license before the day it went into effect.
Carry guns: Primary is a Para P-12. Alternates include a Kel-Tec P-11, a 2 inch S&W J frame. Just picked up a Bersa Thunder, my Colt Pocketlite is getting too valuable to carry!. Primarily carry strongside IWB, in holsters I design and make.
Long time handloader, load for approximately 50 different calibers.
Live in NE San Antonio.

Looking forward to talking with folks here.

Glad to find this forum. Will be moving to central TX from PA in the next couple of months and this seems like a good source for TX info.

Got my first CHL in New York State many years ago; that was an adventure to be sure. PA was a piece of cake by comparison. TX sounds a bit more involved than PA, but far less odious than NY.

I'm a life member of the NRA, and a regular over on TheHighRoad and TheFiringLine ... same screen name. Looking forward to gettin' acquainted here.

Hello!

Life long gun guy, target shooter. CHL for a very long time, both here and other state.

Retired. Was first a high school teacher, then a librarian, then a college professor (Library Science/Information Tech.), then a computer security/forensic manager for financial corporations/banks.

Interested in guns, books, cooking, gardening, fishing, and an occasional fine Cabernet.
