The Wally Walk

Post by AddyLO »

Got my plastic yesterday and decided to jump right into my Wally Walk today.

I was carrying an XD9-SC in a SuperTuck at about 4 oclock position. According to LOML I only printed once while reaching for a top shelf. She said she saw "something dark" under the shirt. Other than that it felt like no big deal.

Entering the store, cart (and LOML's shopping list) in hand.

Got hung up in this section for a while. They NEVER have this much at one time!

LOML knew how to play the game. "I want THAT specific bottle."

Catching up on the latest news while waiting in line.

Awesome AddyLO :thumbs2:

Hawaiian shirt and all !
Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world that is CHL.

Although,...... that last picture seems suspiciously similar to my WW picture.

BTW, you can always spot a new CHLer in Walmart
because there's a spouse following them around with a camera. ;-)

Congrats on your first successful wally walk. Great pictures and I can't see anything.

With that super tuck you should be able to wear golf shirts tucked in as well. I routinely wear shorts and the dry wicking golf shirts tucked in around my Glock 26 in a Comp-Tac holster. Nobody has every said anything about seeing it.

Busted! :smilelol5: Yeah, I wonder where I got that idea. ;-)

Thanks for the comments, folks! It was fun and my wife even enjoyed following me around with the camera. It was funny how many looks we got when the camera flash went off. I'm also into photography and wanted to give her my DSLR but thought that might be a bit too much. So we just took a cheap (and more discreet) little Powershot with us. I did a touch of post-processing on some of the photos.

Sorry, no nachos at our store. There is a Micky D's but I draw the line at eating there.

Stay safe! :txflag:

Congratulations, welcome to the world of CHL.

Have not seen that much ammo at the local Walmart in years.

I can tell by the Hawaiian shirt that you have a gun. :smilelol5:

Congrats and great pictures. I did notice that your Federal 9mm is $.50 cheaper there. Got my plastic today and will head to WM tomorrow with LCR in Desantis.

"rlol" :lol::

I was at a gun store a few months ago in my Xtra-Tall Tee-Shirt and X-tall Gauyabarra shirt and I kept catching a police officer kept trying to discretely see if I was armed .... he didn't see anything, but assumed due to my clothing. however most people don't know enough to even assume. I wear some other articles of clothing etc which draw the eyes way away from the belt line anyway.

I like that shirt, looks like a great cool Summer shirt for the coming HOT months ... you could use a hat though. :biggrinjester:

It's funny. All these years I've been wearing a Hawaiian shirt and never knew that it was (falsely until now) advertising that I was carrying! :headscratch

I know lol, my dad wore Gauyabarra shirts for about 40 years and was never armed, I inherited his shirts, they worked, then learned it's very common clothing for, as Ayoob says, for "armed societies".

I recall some Houston radio station that had proclaimed some day of each week Hawaiian shirt day years ago.

If your Wally's is anything like those in my area, don't bother.

You can get plenty of 9MM and .40, sometimes .45.

But there will be no .38 for your little LCR friend.
