Keltec's new KSG shotgun

Post by OldCannon »

Pretty impressive: http://guns.com/kel-tec-armed-for-shot- ... video.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It still seems a little klunky, but it _is_ a pump shotty. Would make a nice home defense shotgun, but you can be pretty sure you'll go deaf after the first shot w/o hearing protection.

Yeah, I think we've already had a couple of threads about this shotty. It sure looks pretty impressive. I'm not one who is normally attracted to the tactical shotgun genre, but if this thing is well made, I might spring for one. But the Kel-Tec that's really calling my name is that RBP .308 bullpup rifle.

Eh. Its a pump.
Put two tubular mags on a semiauto and marry it to a High Standard Model 10 type design, then you'd have something.

I believe that's called a Saiga 12 :coolgleamA:

Nope if it's semi-auto I think that's called a destructive device, won't pass the "sporting purposes" rule.

I want both, but I think the KSG (supposed to be MSRP of ~$800) may be more affordable for me right now than the RFB, which seems to be going for $1400-1600.

.308 would also be another caliber for me to keep in stock, while I already have 12 gauge in inventory.

Nice, so we can expect to see them in the 600-700 range once the competition heats up.

When I can get them I will have them priced right in the middle of your range. Numbers are going to be limited, I am hoping they will be releasing them to distributors pretty soon.

Doing the math in my head, the Aguilas are 1.75", so it would be 11 per tube, or 22+1 total...if it will reliably feed them.

On a related note, I just ordered a box of these and a box of the 2" Centurion mini-shells to see of they will feed in my Escort.

The counter guy at Lone Star Range in Lockhart showed me these (Aguilas) and a recovered slug that he said went through 6 phone books and into a backstop. It looked practically untouched. I may get some for the pump 870 and throw in the "just in case" bag. :txflag:

Anyone know who has them for sale? Cant find any on the CTD site.

I ordered some of the buckshot ones from Midway. I know they carry the slugs, but I don't know if they have them in stock or not.
