This is an excellent idea, long overdue in the making........but, it looks like it is made for a Southpaw since it swings out on the WRONG SIDE!

They also need to design a speedloader, (aluminum, NOT plastic) for it.

Interesting. It looks like it only locks on the center pin under the barrel (unless I missed something). Only criticism is that the front of the frame needs to rounded a bit.

Being a southpaw it's about time a revolver swings out to the 'wrong' side. I like it and want one.

No, it swings out on a crane, look at the right side, forward of the cylinder. You can see the crane imbedded in the frame.

And yes, the bottom of the frame (square) at the front needs to be rounded. But,.....this is only a prototype.

LOL! Glad this suits you!

I might even buy one myself. Never been interested in these before due to previous models you had to take the thing apart to reload it! But with this swing out cylinder and .22 mag (with speedloaders - if made) might be good as a 3rd backup. Anyway it's cool, and would be super easy to carry in a pocket.

A OWB or IWB holster would be nice too......so small you could position it on the strong side right behind your primary!

Yeah I understand the crane operation. I was just wondering how it stays locked in the closed position. I assume that you have to pull the cylinder pin towards the rear to get it unlocked from the barrel lug in order to swing the cylinder out?

Dunno....maybe you are right..... looks that way to me too.

Another article on this subject. I will definately going to get one of these if/when they are released.

I have a Black Widow and the 4-inch variant (Mastersomething).

I have wanted one of these for a long time. If I were a lefty, this would seal the deal. These look like they would be a hoot on the range, and just a little something extra to keep in my pocket.
