Motorcycle carry

Post by wdj1019 »

I am patiently waiting on my CHL. I have a motorcycle and I'm wondering how you guys that ride carry. I am looking at a maxpedition shoulder bag to use as a diaper/ccw bag. What are your thoughts?

If you are talking about carrying when you get your CHL, I carry the way I normally carry. When it is hotter than Hades, generally IWB and a t-shirt. Cooler temps, I use my OWB with my riding jacket. On the rare time I am riding somewhere I need to keep the gun on the bike, I'll lock it in a Gun Vault NanoVault with the steel cable threaded through a bag and locked in the helmet lock. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Similar to what jacobsd8195 said. Cool weather, it's not an issue. Warm weather, IWB and an untucked T-shirt long enough that I'm sitting on the bottom of the shirt to keep it from blowing up. I also have a biker vest that I will occasionally wear as a cover garment.

Fanny pack works as well. Just don't let it scratch the gas tank.

Mines in the mail (hopefully today :hurry: ) so it's something I got to figure out myself.

No different than when not on the bike. Dress accordingly

IWB. My riding jackets help cover it up.
