Sadly Colorado state officials probably won't care. All they care about is "making people feel safe".

Until next year's elections, when voters will most likely make those politicians feel unemployed.

Don't be so sure of that. A lot of idiots vote. Or a lot of voters are idiots.

And a lot of people have very short memories.

Gun control will be a pyrrhic victory for Democrats. They might get some stuff passed, but they'll lose tons of seats in the process. The last big vote was almost 20 years ago and that one still frightens them.

They need to be frightened.

Magpul has said they will take a multi-state approach to their move, with the magazine business moving out of Colorado first. This means that they will no longer have all their eggs in one basket. I strongly suspect that Texas is one of the states they will be moving to for a number of reasons including (But not limited to) financial, legal, political, and availability of resources. If someone were to ask me where I think they might put facilities in Texas I would suggest watching Houston, although they might look at the wide open areas of West Texas like those around the San Angelo and Big Spring area.
