Would be high on my list if it ever happens.

I'm probably the only that doesn't know why 'single stack' pistols are all the rage.

I wouldn't want a low round count firearm if the tradeoff is it's simply slimmer than my Glock 19.

What makes them so desirable?

Carry a single stack gun around for a while, and it becomes self-evident. It's like pornography......hard to describe, but you know it when you see it.

I own double and single-stack Springfield pistols for example, an XDS, and an XDM Compact 3.8 (approximately the same size as your G19....except that it also comes with an extended capacity backup magazine), and I carry the single stack 95% of the time because it weighs less, and it conceals more easily. If I go out at night, particularly for extended periods into areas I am not that familiar with, I will carry the larger capacity gun, with its better sights. But for everyday daytime use in familiar surroundings, I am fine with the reduced capacity of the XDS.

Might as well carry the G19 if you have the extender... same grip size.

Small, single stack pistol is pocketable. No need to dress around the gun like you do with a G19. Pocketable means it is always with me, vs. left at home or in the truck.

I doubt that this is what Glock will ever deliver though. If I can't pocket it, then give me the gun with more capacity.
