Last weekend , I was window shopping at my local sporting store and a (" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) Beretta PX4 Subcompact .40 S&W follow me home. After cleaning and working the action the weapon is very smooth.
The 17 round magazine will fit the subcompact with Xgrip adapter. The 10 round magazine is for EDC. (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/816187 ... viewHeader" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
The next step is the gun range.

I am having a conflict: the PX4 SC vs my old trusted Kimber Ultra. Is magazine size important? (7+1 of .45 ACP vs 10+1 of .40 S&W) :totap:
I have been carrying the PX4 (10+1) with an extra 17 round magazine with same holster. The weight of the rig feels about the same as the Kimber Ultra (7+1) with an extra 7 round magazine.

The good part of this dilemma is that you will be very suitably armed regardless of which choice becomes your primary EDC.

yeah how does it shoot because I have been thinking about adding a 40 to the collection and was thinking about the full size PX4 Storm or a Sig 229

Patterson,

I have a full size PX4 .40 and an M&P40c and both are fantastic. To be honest I would not go .40 in anything smaller than the M&Pc do to the increased recoil over a 9mm, but in the full size it rocks!

Maxwell,
I thought about getting another Sig p226 but in 40 cal I currently have one in 9mm but I kind of like the PX4 Storm but I have never shot a beretta DA/SA pistol. Is the trigger as good as SIGS
