I had three minature donkeys (just barely minature ) penned up so the vet could immunize them, we were trying to get a halter on one Jenny. I stood with my arms extended to block her off and she ran right over me, knocked me flat on my back and never slowed down. . Otherwise she was very friendly.

Jeez, who are these faux Texans? who keep posting here?
Send every neighbor an invitation to your barbecue, tell them brisket is the menu, and add this line: "I have recently come into a large side of beef and would like to share it with you, my neighbors".... It is scheduled for next Sunday afternoon at 4:00 but I need to hear from you by Saturday night so I can have enough "fixins" to go with it.
"I plan to butcher the bull on Friday night and marinate him all night and all day Saturday before we begin smoking him". THEN
Call the Wichita Falls city attorney and tell him you have 700 pounds of "abandoned property" in your possession that you are disposing of on Sunday. Make the same call to your County Commissioner and tell him someone has "dumped" trash on your land and you will be burning it Sunday afternoon so don't worry about the smoke.
Do the same with the volunteer Fire Chief, "burning trash - smoke - don't worry you have a couple of big hoses and a bulldozer and you will call if needed".

Reality indicates you are the proud recipient of a bull that is past his prime and firing blanks. Face it, it happens to lots of boys. Breeders need their cows to be "with calf" when they are taken to market. When this happens in unacceptable percentages, "Mr. Wonderful" becomes a memory of earlier times. Realistically, Ruth Chris Steakhouse isn't going to be standing at the end of your driveway bidding on tough as nails, Mr. Wonderful.. you have several choices; Sell him to McBride's or Opa's Schnitzel Haus or throw a rope around his neck and lead him North across the Red River and make him the Kiowa Casino or Randlett's problem.
Or, shucks, you could cut him loose at Sheppard they would tenderize both sides in a couple of bursts, but they would enjoy the feast.
If you are not pulling our chain and really worried about this nuisance in your back yard, call Kent Hance. He's a LAWYER, he's from Demmitt, both Texas Senate and U.S. Congress, ran for governor, elected Railroad Commissioner... bottom line politically connected: Most important, a real, authentic hard case.... He will dispose of any legal problems you think you may have before you even think of them. We have wasted so many pages of wimpy, feel good advice on a non-problem. Just take care of it... dig a big hole, bury the evidence... if you are not hungry for ribs or brisket, plow it under.
I've lived in Texas for 55 years.... we used to know how to deal with gnats on a watermelon better than this.
