It's not surprising to me, with several States now allowing unlicensed carry, more people are jumping on the bandwagon. This will increase if LTC costs here in Texas are reduced.

Also, even in States with restrictive gun laws, including magazine capacity, guns like the single stack nines will be legal.

Shield rebates started April 1. I expect the rebates will ensure that the Shield is also at the top of the sales list for April.

They were running a $50 rebate in March, I believe. They upped it to $75 in April.
