Carrying most of my life in LE, I also took the 2nd class in 95 in Tarrant County, the 1st class started at 12:01 AM!
Mine was at Alpine Range at 7AM and lasted 16 hrs (2 days), paperwork mailed the next day, about 45 days turn around. I have a 3 digit number, my friend mailed his the same time and has a 2 digit card number.
Attempted carjacked the day I received it!! What a shock. They got a huge surprise.

Carrying since September 1991 in some capacity (car and on my property mostly). Right after I left the Army.

Got my Texas CHL in 2008 after I moved to this great state. That increased the number of places where I could legally carry. Carried on a regular basis most everywhere since then (except at work :banghead: )

I started carrying about 1950. Was driving tractor and started carrying a pistol to shoot jackrabbits and have been carrying on and off ever since. Picked up the Texas CHL shortly after they started issuing CHLs just so I would be legal.

Started carrying daily on the day I received my LTC - July 1 2016.

Won't confirm or deny carrying in Texas (except WHILE TRAVELING and that would go back to about 1973) any before January 1996 when my first TEXAS plastic arrived. Previously held an Alabama permit from 1988-1989 and believe it or not, a California permit from 1978-1982. Back then, Sacramento County was fairly military friendly and permits were issued by the County Sheriff.

I carried in Tennessee from 1987 until I moved to Texas in 1993.

I started carrying here in Texas around 2009.

HUH, may or may not since June of 82'. (due to a violent crime committed against me and my young family, which fortunately turned out more violent for the perp)
Licensed in 96, expired 98, reapplied in 99 and have carried ever since. CHL/LTC instructor since 11.
P.S. I remember having to get on a waiting list, due to lack of instructors. I got lucky, showed up for a class that had a no-show.
