Bought S&W-M&P Shield 9mm

#1

Post by Sidro »

Bought this little 9mm today for $330 and it shoots rather well. Handled well and shot fmj and hp ammo with no problems. It was on sale at Gebo's Farm and Ranch supply and I couldn't turn it down. Recently bought the wife a Glock 43 and it shoots very well also with all ammo. I have always been a 1911 person but now own these two pistols. Am I sick or have I gone over to the darkside?

Any gun small enough to conceal is a compromise, but the Shield, for my money, is one of the best such guns available. Easy to conceal, but long enough to be pretty accurate. I have two, and they have been very reliable.
I recommend using +P ammo.

I recently bought my second Shield 9mm for $200 after rebate.

They're good shooting and reliable.

Welcome to the "dark side." It's kinda like Hotel California! :biggrinjester:

Not the dark side but the right side! I cut my teeth on Glock's and M&P's but do enjoy a nice 1911 every now and then. Although when I carry 45 I'll carry my nice lightweight insanely accurate perfect little 45 shield and still have the same capacity as the full size boat anchor that is the 1911 :biggrinjester:

Nah, you've just gotten less provincial.

The wife and I both have 9mm Shields, I carry it when not carrying a 1911.
They are excellent 9mm guns.

I think the trigger is pretty good also making it a good shooting gun.
