Kydex OWB Glock 43

#1

Post by cmgee67 »

Howdy folks I have been looking at a ton of holsters for my Glock 43. Right now I carry iwb but I would like an OWB option. I am not a fan of OWB leather for carry unless it’s my Ruger Vaquero. For me Kydex is the best option. There are some days when iwb just makes you feel over expanded : so owb just works.

JW Custom Kydex is tops among kydex makers. Subtle features not often found in other brands. His IWB are also great.

In case you change your mind I really like the DeSantis miniscabbard runs around $40 at Amazon. Leather but for me nicer than plastic. I have several of them, easy on and off the belt. I have Kydex holsters too for IWB but leather is nice for OWB in my opinion.

I’d like to try this one to my G43 but I do t think it’s worth almost double the price. I’ve beenusing Bravo for a while and I’ve always been pleased.

I carry my S&W M&P Mod 2.0, 9mm, 5 inch, in a Safariland 7TS ALS holster. Automatically locks on holstering. Intuitive thumb release on establishing a full firing grip. They have a version for the Glock 43. And they have 20% off for online orders in December.

This comes with one shell that mounts to options that include: IWB, appendix, OWB and OWB paddle...

I have a friend who has one for his XDS and is really pleased with it.

I’ve been wearing this one and I have zero complaints so far. The holster is small and light yet has evoigh stiffness to retain the pistol (there is an adjustable retention s fee). I’m actually going to order another one for my wife to use.
