I'll never understand the appeal of those death traps... people are such reckless drivers now a days i dont even feel safe driving a full sized car let alone a tiny motorcycle.
Sympathies for your cousin’s injuries and her loss. I’ve lost three irreplaceable friends on motorcycles. They would understand why I still ride.

I guess you don’t get to pick which briar patch you’re born in. I’ll probably be fine. Good enough odds, I think. It’s freedom, and it has risks.
very true.

If one finds motorcycle riding too dangerous to tolerate...don't get on one.

Some people like to sky dive, if you don't, don't.

Some people are afraid of guns, if you're of them, don't buy any.

Some people think scuba diving is far too dangerous. If you're on them don't scuba dive.

See where I'm going with this....?

I agree. My wife has a small car and though I drive it on occasion, I don't feel that safe in it. I sit too low to the ground(Mini Cooper). I much prefer my Ram 3500 diesel crew cab dually.

People aren't careless drivers...just busy, texting, calling each other, you know, doing important stuff.

Careful driving pppfffff, the car will drive itself, you just have make certain to stay electronically connected, the rest will take care of itself...right

Yeah, blabbing/texting while driving (especially texting) ought to be considered by our next lawyers who know what's best for us.

'Texting while driving' is in my opinion" akin to drunk/impaired driving and should be punished with harsh sanctioned fines and/or jail time. Or both.

Oh sorry, you just wanted to connect with someone you care about...while thundering down the road paying less attention to your driving, kill my family/me because hey "texting while driving is necessary and important"

I hope the rest of your life in hell is just that...

I've been riding a motorcycle for many years and agree that it's a lot more dangerous now.
I always secure my firearm in a saddle bag while riding.

Well meaning perhaps, but I always say do not be redundant or repeat yourself or say it more than once!
