When I read this post all that sprang to mind is that he reloaded the rounds. It is very easy to double up a powder charge or not seat a primer properly. I can see the why FN is hesitant to respond. Rico

He admitted that he was using reloads, just that he exercised due diligence.
I also think this is an issue for FN, whether it affects the settlement or not.
Out of battery means that the bolt isn't completely closed, so that the round may not be fully chambered.
