I honestly can not count how many nail gun mishaps I have seen in the ER. The ones that always made me wince were the ones in the top of the head.

Nailing on chair rail trim with 18guage finish nailer and had a nail hit a sheet rock screw, bend 180 degrees, come back through the piece, enter the pad of my thumb and exit through the thumbnail! I had to pull my thumb off the nail as I was now attached to the trim!! :cryin I'm now much more careful with placement of the support hand. :lol:

I had a friend who was a union trim carpenter his whole life. When he was about 70, his car was making a funny noise, so he opened the hood while the engine was running. Yep serpentine belt caught is forefinger neatly took it off at a pully.
