When I was in the Boy Scouts, our Scoutmaster carried a handgun when we went hiking or camping. All the boys knew it, all the parents knew it. No one cared. We all felt a little safer. At that time you had to jump through hoops to get a license. He did not have one and all the local law enforcement knew he carried only on these occasions and never bothered him.

I'm thinking about having one tattooed on my forearm, but I can't decide what color would stand out best. If some others would care to participate, I'm sure we could get a good rate!
