My anti gunner friends are having a good time with this today.
I put this in Never Again, not Crime Blotter or Ladies. I hope that was the correct location.
BTW San Antonio, Texas

There is no reason for him to get his shot gun. His ex isn't too sharp either staying their.

The article does not state whether he asked her to leave but the "unexpectedly" part tells me that she was not welcome. In my opinion, he had the right to get a firearm if he asked her to leave. It may have not been the wisest choice for him to do so.The man's ex-girlfriend had unexpectedly arrived at his house and a verbal altercation ensued.
Now he has two exs

Most women if they are not armed do not pose enough threat to my life or safety for me to point my firearm at them. If he wanted her to leave and she refused he should have called the cops.tonzofphun wrote:The article does not state whether he asked her to leave but the "unexpectedly" part tells me that she was not welcome. I agree.. It'd be a tough sell to me if someone were to argue that a irritated unarmed girlfriend constituted enough of a threat to bring a firearm into it. I imagine there are exceptions, but I've never had the pleasure of dating one..nightmare69 wrote: Most women if they are not armed do not pose enough threat to my life or safety for me to point my firearm at them. I'm trying to figure out how one survives a shotgun discharged point blank to the chest. Must have not been straight on...

Even in Texas you are not able to shoot someone for trespass.tonzofphun wrote:The article does not state whether he asked her to leave but the "unexpectedly" part tells me that she was not welcome. I can't tell from the gawky reporting. Was she inside the house?
When in doubt

Those kind of incidents will surely keep our jailhouses occupied. Too sad some just don't think it through.
