Another magic bullet.

Or... Maybe a trick shot?
Lee County Sheriff's deputies said 54-year-old Larry McElroy was outside when he fired his 9 mm pistol at the armadillo. The bullet killed the animal, but also ricocheted off of it, hit a fence, went through the back door of his mother-in-law's mobile home, through a recliner she was sitting in, and into her back.

Don't ever underestimate how tough armadillo hide is.

My father shot one with his 30-30 once. It was between their travel trailer and a metal building. The 30-30 slug went through the dillo and it was DRT. Unfortunately, the soft-point spattered and left a series of tiny odd-shaped holes in both the trailer and building.

I just knew this was going to be humorous when I read the title. One of those times you're not sure whether to laugh or not. He could have been shooting the mother in law and accidentally killed the critter.

Hey now! Those hideous beasts are tough! Armadillos can take a beating too, though.
